About The Position

Ideal Dental is seeking a bilingual Dental Assistant to support patients and the dental team in delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care. The role assists with dental procedures, patient preparation and education, diagnostic imaging and scanning, documentation, infection control, and the day-to-day flow of the practice. The position offers training and resources to support professional growth in a supportive, technology-focused environment.

Requirements

• Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license.
• Current CPR certification.
• At least 6 months to 1 year of experience as an RDA in a dental practice.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and help create a positive patient experience.
• Assist dentists with a wide range of dental procedures.
• Prepare and educate guests before the dentist's examination.
• Take dental X-rays.
• Use the iTero scanner and conduct digital scans.
• Prepare and break down treatment rooms and operatories.
• Sterilize instruments and equipment and maintain infection control standards.
• Record patients' medical histories.
• Take impressions and bite registrations.
• Chart existing and recommended treatments and assist with patient documentation.
• Manage patient flow and facilitate handoffs and transitions during visits.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices.
• Work collaboratively with the practice team to provide quality care and support patient satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as required to support the office.
