About The Position

The Smilist is seeking a reliable, friendly, and motivated Dental Assistant to join its growing practice in West Chester, Pennsylvania. The role supports doctors in providing efficient, high-quality dental treatment while helping create a clean, sterile, cheerful, and comfortable environment for patients. The Dental Assistant helps patients stay focused on optimal treatment while addressing their individual concerns and promoting the qualities of their doctor. This is a full-time position scheduled Monday through Thursday, with no weekends. Compensation is $20.00–$25.00 per hour, based on licensure.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Dental Assistant.
Active Pennsylvania x-ray license.
Knowledge of dental instruments, equipment, and procedures.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well in a team and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Attention to detail and a positive attitude.

Nice To Haves

Prior Dentrix experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Keep patients focused on optimal treatment while attending to their individual concerns and promoting the good qualities of their doctor.
Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment where patients feel comfortable.
Prepare patients for treatment and assist doctors in providing efficient, quality dental treatment.
Escort patients to and from the front desk.
Prepare tray setups for dental procedures.
Maintain adequate supply levels in each operatory, ordering and replenishing supplies as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
