About The Position
The Dental Assistant supports the doctor during dental procedures and helps prepare treatment rooms. The role includes taking digital dental X-rays, alginate impressions, and polishing. The successful candidate is organized, team-oriented, reliable, motivated, and committed to excellent patient care. The schedule is Tuesday through Friday and every other Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a one-hour lunch break. Pay is listed as $25–$30 based on experience, and also as $25–$28 per hour plus, based on experience.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience as a dental assistant.
- Ability to take digital dental X-rays.
- Ability to take alginate impressions.
- Ability to perform polishing.
- Be organized and team-oriented, with a commitment to excellent patient care.
Nice To Haves
- Experience fabricating temporary restorations.
- Experience with intraoral scanning or digital scanning.
