About The Position
Arcadia Pediatric Dental, part of Kids Dental Brands, is seeking a compassionate, patient-focused Dental Assistant to work with children and families. The role supports clinical procedures and high-quality patient care while helping create a welcoming experience where children feel safe and confident. The position is based in a modern, kid-focused dental office and offers a predictable daytime schedule, with no nights and often shortened Fridays. The organization describes opportunities for training, professional development, and career growth.
Requirements
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Arizona Radiology Certification.
Responsibilities
- Work chairside with dentists to support high-quality patient care.
- Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays).
- Prepare, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
- Assist with procedures, including impressions, extractions, and fillings.
- Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene, including brushing, flossing, and nutrition.
- Review medical histories, take blood pressure and pulse, and update records.
- Help children feel comfortable and confident before, during, and after treatment.
- Provide post-treatment care instructions to patients and families.
