About The Position

We are seeking a patient-focused Dental Assistant who shares a passion for patient care and education and for creating a welcoming environment. The role provides chair-side support to Dentists and Hygienists, helps deliver a superior patient experience, and contributes to patients’ understanding of their oral health. This position requires traveling.

Requirements

• Completion of a dental assisting program.
• Certification as required by the State Dental Board.
• Radiology certification required to comply with the State Dental Board.
• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and dental software.
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to partnering with all team members to create a great environment.

Nice To Haves

• Dental assisting experience.
• Experience with Dentrix.

Responsibilities

• Provide chair-side clinical support to Dentists and Hygienists, including charting, patient education, and operatory setup and cleanup.
• Deliver a superior patient experience throughout each appointment.
• Take and process X-rays.
• Enter patient treatment plans and maintain patient files.
• Complete sterilization processes for equipment and operatories.
• Educate patients about the importance of oral health and how to maintain it.
