About The Position
Bay Area Dental Center is hiring a full-time Dental Assistant in League City, Texas. The Dental Assistant works directly with the dentist to support patient care and help create a comfortable, positive patient experience. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
Requirements
- Active Texas dental assistant license.
- Dental assistant training or school certification.
- At least 2 years of clinical dental assisting experience.
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Experience with digital software.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists chairside.
- Welcome patients.
- Prepare patients for treatments or checkups and help ensure their comfort.
- Select and set up instruments, equipment, and other dental materials as needed.
- Sterilize instruments according to regulations.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Perform lab tasks as instructed.
- Provide post-operative care instructions.
- Keep operatories clean and stocked.
