About The Position
The Dental Assistant supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; and performing procedures in compliance with Colorado dental standards. This is a part-time position working Fridays and Saturdays. CHOICE Healthcare Services provides pediatric dental care and aims to make healthcare accessible to everyone.
Requirements
- Colorado X-Ray certification.
- Current BLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- Certification from a dental college, or three to six months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Bilingual in Spanish.
Responsibilities
- Assists the doctor in procedures.
- Takes x-rays.
- Instructs patients on oral hygiene.
- Sterilizes instruments.
- Sets up and breaks down rooms and prepares them for treatment and hygiene.
