About The Position
Midland Dentistry 4 Kids, part of Kids Dental Brands, is seeking a compassionate, patient-focused Dental Assistant to support pediatric dental and orthodontic care. The role works closely with children and families, supports clinical procedures, and helps create a positive, welcoming experience so patients feel safe, confident, and comfortable returning for care. The position includes chairside assistance, radiographs, instrument and equipment preparation and sterilization, patient education, and clinical record updates. The office is described as a bright, modern, kid-focused facility using current technology and a compassionate care approach. The role offers a predictable daytime schedule, no nights, and often shortened Friday schedules. Compensation is $18 per hour, with monthly bonus opportunities of up to $300.
Requirements
- Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification.
- Current CPR/BLS Certification.
Responsibilities
- Work chairside with dentists to support high-quality patient care.
- Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays).
- Prepare, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
- Assist with procedures including impressions, extractions, and fillings.
- Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene, including brushing, flossing, and nutrition.
- Review medical histories, take blood pressure and pulse, and update records.
- Help children feel comfortable and confident before, during, and after treatment.
- Provide post-treatment care instructions to patients and families.
