About The Position

Dental365 is hiring a Dental Assistant for Eric George, DMD & Associates in Coventry, Rhode Island. The role supports the dentist and helps provide a comfortable, patient-focused experience in a modern dental practice. The assistant takes digital radiographs and intra-oral scans as prescribed, prepares and sterilizes instruments and equipment, and sanitizes and prepares operatories. The position also includes patient education and other office tasks that help the practice operate smoothly.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of previous dental assisting experience.
• Any certification or license required by the state to perform specified duties.
• A resume demonstrating a consistent and stable employment history.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to deliver exceptional patient experiences.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and help them feel comfortable and confident throughout their visit.
• Support the dentist with various procedures.
• Take digital radiographs and intra-oral scans as prescribed.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with infection-control practices.
• Sanitize and prepare operatories for treatments.
• Follow OSHA and safety policies to maintain a secure and healthy environment.
• Educate patients on effective oral hygiene strategies as needed.
• Perform diverse office tasks as needed to support seamless practice operations.
