About The Position

Dental Assistants deliver “Best in Class” care to every patient and assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures. The position requires working at the Miramar, Sunrise, and Pembrooke Pines locations.

Nice To Haves

• 2 to 3 years of Dental Assisting experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure necessary equipment is ready for dentists.
• Use knowledge of general mouth anatomy and dental terminology.
• Understand crowns, fillings, extractions, root canals, and implants.
• Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs.
• Take and process patient X-rays.
• Perform lab tasks as instructed.
• Greet patients and schedule appointments.
• Advise patients on recommended oral hygiene.
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures.
• Communicate oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
• Handle general administrative and other duties to maintain the dental practice.
