About The Position

Affordable Dentures & Implants is seeking a compassionate, skilled Dental Assistant to provide chairside support and guide patients through every stage of treatment. The role offers experience in prosthodontics, dental implants, oral surgery, and removable prosthetics while working with dentists and in-house dental laboratory professionals in a supportive, fast-paced environment. The Dental Assistant delivers patient care, prepares clinical spaces and instruments, assists with dental and prosthetic procedures, educates patients, documents clinical information, takes radiographs as permitted, and maintains infection-prevention standards. The position also supports inventory management and daily office operations and may involve occasional travel for training and continuing education.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Dental Assistant and X-ray certification where required by state.
Strong communication and patient service skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Commitment to teamwork, professionalism, and compassionate patient care.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and sit for extended periods throughout the workday.
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Ability to work safely in a clinical environment while following OSHA and infection-control protocols.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of dental assisting experience.

Responsibilities

Deliver outstanding patient care and create a welcoming experience from check-in through treatment.
Prepare operatories, instruments, equipment, and materials before patient appointments.
Assist dentists with denture procedures, dental implant placement, oral surgery, extractions, and prosthetic treatments in accordance with state regulations.
Take and assist with alginate denture impressions, select impression trays, and prepare wax bites under dentist direction.
Assist with denture insertions, adjustments, relines, repairs, and other expanded duties where permitted by state law.
Educate patients about treatment plans, denture options, implant procedures, post-operative care, home care instructions, and financial packages.
Obtain and accurately document patient medical histories, treatment information, and clinical notes.
Take dental radiographs in accordance with state certification requirements.
Clean, disinfect, and sterilize instruments and operatories in accordance with infection-prevention standards.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering clinical supplies.
Support daily office operations by maintaining a clean, organized clinical environment.
Travel occasionally for training and continuing education opportunities as needed.
Perform additional duties to support patient care and office success.
