About The Position

The Dental Assistant supports a patient-centric dental office in Menlo Park, California. The role provides chairside assistance during general dentistry procedures, supports treatment planning and patient education, takes digital X-rays and intraoral scans, maintains digital patient records, and sterilizes instruments while maintaining OSHA compliance. Training is provided for digital imaging and scanning; CEREC experience is a plus.

The office offers dedicated mentorship for foreign-trained dentists pursuing U.S. licensure, including support informed by the team’s experience with the U.S. IDP/PASS pathway. The workplace is described as a supportive team environment focused on exceptional patient care.

Requirements

• Valid California Dental Assistant license or certification.
• Experience in clinical dental assisting.
• Proficiency with dental software or EHR systems.
• Excellent patient communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• CEREC experience; training is provided.
• CPR certification is preferred.
