About The Position

Squire Dental is seeking a motivated, team-oriented Dental Assistant to support a general dentistry practice and help provide an exceptional patient experience. The role supports smooth, efficient, and comfortable patient care while contributing to a supportive, patient-centered, team-first culture focused on growth, communication, and high-quality care. The schedule is Monday through Friday.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or on-the-job training.
Active dental assistant certification or license as required by state law.
Current CPR/BLS certification.
Excellent communication and patient care skills.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of experience in a dental assisting role.
Proficiency in dental software systems, specifically Denticon.

Responsibilities

Prepare treatment rooms and patients for dental procedures.
Assist the dentist chairside using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, and operatories.
Take dental radiographs and impressions as directed by the dentist.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care instructions.
Maintain accurate patient records and update charts in the practice management system.
Monitor inventory and inform the Clinical Lead or Office Manager of supply needs.
Follow OSHA, CDC, and HIPAA protocols to ensure patient and team safety.
Support a team-first culture and uphold Squire Dental’s values in every interaction.
Perform other duties as they relate to the position.
