About The Position

Dental Assistants deliver “Best in Class” care to every patient, every day. The role assists dentists during a variety of dental procedures and supports patients with oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions. The ideal candidate demonstrates empathy, patience, quick thinking, and a willingness to help others. Experienced dental assistants and candidates motivated to learn more about the dental industry are encouraged to apply. The position also supports the day-to-day operation of the dental practice through patient greeting and scheduling, recordkeeping, payment assistance, lab tasks, and other administrative duties.

Nice To Haves

1–2 years of dental assisting experience preferred.
Knowledge of general anatomy of the mouth and dental terminology.
Understanding of crowns, fillings, extractions, root canals, and implants.

Responsibilities

Prepare exam rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure necessary equipment is ready for dentists.
Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs.
Take and process patient X-rays.
Perform lab tasks as instructed.
Greet patients and schedule appointments.
Advise patients on recommended oral hygiene.
Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures.
Communicate oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions to patients.
Handle general administrative and other duties to maintain the dental practice.
