About The Position

In this part-time role, the Dental Assistant supports the dental team in delivering high-quality patient care by assisting during procedures, preparing instruments, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment. Requirements

• Active Washington Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) credential.
• Current BLS certification.
• Two years of chairside experience.
• Proficiency in making provisional crowns.
• Excellent communication skills and a caring, professional demeanor.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to start within a month.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during surgeries, fillings, cleanings, and other dental treatments.
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment before, during, and after patient treatment.
• Accurately take digital dental X-rays using Dexis software.
• Prepare materials for dental procedures, including fillings, impressions, and crowns.
• Provide chairside assistance and help patients feel comfortable and informed.
• Record and update patient medical histories and treatment plans in the dental software.
• Manage instruments and tools, passing them to the dentist as needed during procedures.
• Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene.
