Requirements
- Washington State Dental Assistant Registration (DA License): Active registration with the Washington State Department of Health (DOH) is required prior to start date.
- BLS / CPR Certification: Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification.
- X-Ray / Radiology Proficiency: Washington state-compliant dental radiography skills.
- Exceptional patient communication and phone/interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, punctual, organized, and enthusiastic about working in a collaborative team environment.
Nice To Haves
- 1–2+ years of hands-on chairside Dental Assistant experience preferred (general dentistry background is a strong plus).
Responsibilities
- Provide active 4-handed chairside assistance to our doctors during general, cosmetic, restorative, and oral surgery procedures.
- Warmly greet patients, review medical histories, explain procedure steps, and ensure a calm, comfortable experience.
- Set up/break down treatment operatories using strict sterilization and infection control protocols.
- Take clear digital dental radiograph (X-rays) and intraoral photos as directed by the dentist.
- Assist with clinical inventory stocking, taking dental impressions/scans, and coordinating laboratory cases.
