About The Position

Abbeville is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Assistant to support patient care in a respectful, supportive, and team-oriented dental practice. The role involves preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing and delivering instruments, assisting the dentist during treatment, and completing clinical notes before patients are dismissed. Requirements

CPR and X-ray certification.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and equipment.
Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
Successfully pass a background check, including a drug screen, as a condition of an employment offer.

Responsibilities

Prepare the treatment room for patients.
Sterilize and deliver instruments to the treatment area; position instruments for the dentist’s access, suction, and pass instruments.
Complete clinical notes before dismissing patients.
