About The Position

Gentle Dental Northgate in Medford is looking for a full-time Dental Assistant to work alongside their Exodontist, a dentist focused on tooth extractions and surgical procedures. This is a great opportunity for a Dental Assistant who enjoys a faster-paced clinical environment, has an interest in oral surgery and extractions, or wants the opportunity to grow their skills while working closely with an experienced doctor. Requirements

• Certificate from a Dental Assisting Program
• Valid healthcare provider CPR/BLS certification

Nice To Haves

• Previous dental assisting experience
• Experience assisting with extractions, oral surgery, or surgical procedures
• EFDA certification
• X-ray certification
• Bilingual Spanish
• Registered Dental Assistant (RDA), when applicable

Responsibilities

• Assisting during routine and surgical extractions
• Preparing treatment rooms, instruments, and surgical setups
• Supporting the doctor throughout procedures
• Helping patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit
• Following infection control and sterilization protocols
• Working closely with the clinical team to keep patient care running smoothly
