About The Position

Ideal Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant to support patients and the dental team in delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care. The role assists with dental procedures, patient preparation and education, diagnostic tasks, treatment documentation, infection control, and daily practice operations. The position includes use of digital iTero scanning technology and offers opportunities to develop skills and grow professionally.

Requirements

• Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license.
• Current CPR certification.
• At least 6 months to 1 year of experience as an RDA in a dental practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists with a wide range of dental procedures and help ensure patients are comfortable.
• Greet guests and assist with patient flow and handoffs throughout their visits.
• Prepare and educate patients before the dentist’s examination.
• Take dental X-rays.
• Use the iTero scanner and conduct digital scans.
• Prepare and break down treatment rooms and operatories.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with infection-control standards.
• Record patients’ medical histories.
• Take impressions and bite registrations.
• Chart existing and recommended treatments and assist with patient documentation.
• Educate patients about oral hygiene practices.
• Work collaboratively with the practice team to provide quality guest care and patient satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as required to support the office.
• Travel may be required for DeNovo offices, which are newly acquired offices.
