Dental Assistant
About The Position
The practice is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join its private practice team in Norman, Oklahoma. The role involves supporting the doctor during dental procedures, helping patients feel comfortable, and providing clinical care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. The practice is modern and technology-driven, and values relationship-building, professionalism, and continued career growth. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Wednesday from noon to 7 p.m. Compensation is $18–$24 per hour, based on experience.
Requirements
- Previous dental assisting experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to multitask while maintaining exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and prepare patients for dental treatment.
- Assist the doctor during a variety of dental procedures.
- Capture digital impressions using the iTero scanner.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked clinical environment.
- Sterilize instruments and follow infection control protocols.
- Take dental radiographs in accordance with state guidelines.
- Educate patients about treatment plans, oral hygiene, and post-operative care.
- Accurately document clinical notes and patient information.
- Help create a positive, comfortable experience for every patient.
