About The Position

At Aspen Dental, Dental Assistants support the clinical needs of patients and doctors. The role offers training and support to help employees develop their careers and contribute to patient care and the community. Responsibilities include assisting with treatment procedures, taking dental X-rays, preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment, supporting patient flow and charting, and educating patients about oral hygiene. Dental Assistants also complete denture soft relines, manufacture temporary crowns, take impressions and bite registrations, perform digital intraoral scans, and handle office tasks as needed. The position calls for collaboration with the practice team to support patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
Take dental X-rays.
Set up and break down the operatory after treatment.
Execute patient handoffs and monitor patient flow within the practice.
Manage infection control by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health.
Complete denture soft relines and manufacture temporary crowns.
Perform quality impressions and bite registrations.
Perform digital intraoral scans.
Support patient charting for doctors.
Perform various office tasks as necessary.
Collaborate with the practice team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction.
