About The Position

Maricopa Dental Center is seeking a reliable, high-energy, patient-focused Dental Assistant to join its clinical team in Maricopa, Arizona. The practice provides comprehensive family, preventive, cosmetic, restorative, emergency, and implant dentistry, as well as clear aligner therapy. The Dental Assistant works alongside doctors and the clinical team to support back-office operations, assist with clinical procedures, capture digital images, and help patients feel comfortable and cared for. This is a full-time, hourly role with a Monday–Thursday schedule and no Fridays, weekends, or late nights. Compensation is $20.00–$23.00 per hour, depending on experience, with potential monthly team performance bonuses. Requirements

Active Arizona Dental Radiologic Proficiency / X-Ray Certification.
Positive energy, reliability, strong emotional intelligence, and commitment to delivering a high-quality patient experience.
Familiarity with digital radiography, dental software, and standard chairside setups.

Nice To Haves

Prior chairside Dental Assisting experience in a multi-provider or fast-paced practice; strong entry-level candidates are also considered.

Responsibilities

Provide four-handed chairside assistance during general, restorative, cosmetic, and surgical dental procedures.
Take digital X-rays and intraoral photographs, and assist with clinical charting.
Welcome patients, review health histories, explain treatment steps, and help patients feel at ease.
Prepare, break down, sanitize, and restock treatment operatories between appointments.
Process instruments, maintain sterilization equipment, and follow OSHA, HIPAA, and infection-control protocols.
Collaborate with doctors, hygienists, and front-office staff to support daily scheduling and timely appointment flow.
