Dental Assistant
About The Position
The Dental Assistant supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; and performing procedures in compliance with Nevada dental standards. CHOICE Healthcare Services provides pediatric dental care and aims to expand access to healthcare. The listed pay range is $14.90 to $19.38, based on experience. The role requires certification from a dental college, three to six months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Spanish bilingual ability is preferred. Required credentials include Nevada X-ray certification or affidavit, BLS certification, and a four-hour Infection Control certification.

Responsibilities
- Assist the doctor during procedures.
- Take X-rays.
- Take intraoral images (IOs).
- Assist with prophylaxis teeth cleaning.
- Instruct patients on oral hygiene.
- Chart cavities and teeth with the doctor.
- Sterilize instruments.
- Set up, break down, and prepare rooms for treatment and hygiene.
- Chart patients’ treatment and treatment plans with the doctor.
