Dental Assistant - Entry Level
About The Position
This entry-level Dental Assistant role offers paid, hands-on training through Aspen Dental’s partnership with the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB), with a path toward becoming a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA). No dental experience or certification is required to apply. The position supports dentists and the dental team in providing patient care and keeping treatment areas and instruments ready for use. Schedule availability varies by independently owned and operated location, with part-time, full-time, and flexible scheduling offered. The stated salary is $20–$22 per hour. Practices are independently owned and operated by licensed dentists and receive non-clinical business support from Aspen Dental Management, Inc.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Obtain radiology and safety certification within the required timeframe for the state of practice.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
- No dental experience or certification is required to apply.
Responsibilities
- Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
- Set up and break down the operatory after treatment.
- Manage infection control, including preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
- Support patient charting for doctors.
- Perform office tasks as necessary.
- Collaborate with other members of the dental team to provide exceptional patient care.
