About The Position

This entry-level Dental Assistant role provides paid, hands-on training through Aspen Dental’s partnership with the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB), with a path toward becoming a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA). The assistant works with the dental team to support treatment procedures, patient care, infection control, charting, and office operations. No dental experience or certification is required to apply. Schedules vary by independently owned and operated location; part-time, full-time, and flexible scheduling are available.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Obtain radiology and safety certification within the required timeframe for the state of practice.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Set up and break down the operatory after treatment.
• Manage infection control by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
• Support patient charting for doctors.
• Perform office tasks as necessary.
• Collaborate with other members of the dental team to provide exceptional patient care.
