Requirements
- Dental assisting experience preferred, but not required for all roles
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Positive, team-oriented attitude
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
- CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus
- Dental assisting or clinical experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced dental environment
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists chairside during restorative and preventive procedures
- Prepare, disinfect, and maintain treatment rooms before and after patients
- Take and process dental X-rays, as permitted by certification
- Help support patient flow and ensure patient comfort during visits
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and charting
- Sterilize instruments and manage clinical supply inventory
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, treatment plans, and post-op instructions
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards
- Deliver compassionate, efficient care in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Assist the hygienist with daily clinical and operatory needs
- Prepare and set up treatment rooms and hygiene operatories
- Assist with patient flow and ensure patients are comfortable throughout their visit
- Sterilize instruments and maintain proper infection control procedures
- Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked operatories
- Assist with charting and accurate clinical documentation
- Provide patients with oral hygiene education and post-treatment instructions
- Work collaboratively with the hygiene and dental team to provide excellent patient care
