Requirements

  • Dental assisting experience preferred, but not required for all roles
  • Strong communication and multitasking skills
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • CPR certification or willingness to obtain
  • Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus
  • Dental assisting or clinical experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced dental environment

Responsibilities

  • Assist dentists chairside during restorative and preventive procedures
  • Prepare, disinfect, and maintain treatment rooms before and after patients
  • Take and process dental X-rays, as permitted by certification
  • Help support patient flow and ensure patient comfort during visits
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and charting
  • Sterilize instruments and manage clinical supply inventory
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene, treatment plans, and post-op instructions
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards
  • Deliver compassionate, efficient care in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Assist the hygienist with daily clinical and operatory needs
  • Prepare and set up treatment rooms and hygiene operatories
  • Assist with patient flow and ensure patients are comfortable throughout their visit
  • Sterilize instruments and maintain proper infection control procedures
  • Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked operatories
  • Assist with charting and accurate clinical documentation
  • Provide patients with oral hygiene education and post-treatment instructions
  • Work collaboratively with the hygiene and dental team to provide excellent patient care
