About The Position
ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers is hiring a full-time Dental Assistant to support its clinical team and provide patient care during dental implant procedures. The role works directly with a Prosthodontist and supports specialized areas including oral surgery, periodontics, and prosthodontics. The position also includes patient education, coordination with clinical and prosthetic teams, and office tasks. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with no weekend shifts required. Compensation is $29–$31 per hour, based on experience and certification.
Requirements
- Valid certifications that meet applicable state requirements.
- At least 2 years of previous experience in a dental assisting role.
- Strong manual dexterity and the ability to handle dental instruments precisely.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.
- Comfort with radiographic equipment and digital dental technology.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience with dental implants or prosthodontics.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Prosthodontist with advanced dental procedures, particularly dental implant treatments.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment while maintaining infection control standards.
- Provide chair-side assistance, anticipate the dentist’s needs, and keep the treatment area clear and organized.
- Help patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit.
- Take dental x-rays, process radiographs, and assist with radiographic imaging.
- Prepare materials for impressions and restorations.
- Educate patients about post-operative care and general oral hygiene.
- Support the prosthetic team with inventory management, lab coordination, and recordkeeping.
- Perform office tasks as needed, including scheduling appointments, receiving patients, maintaining records, and ordering supplies.
- Collaborate with oral surgeons, hygienists, Patient Education Consultants, and other clinical staff to support patient care.
- Assist in oral surgery, periodontics, and prosthodontics.
