About The Position
Eastpoint Pediatric Dental Associates is seeking a friendly, dependable, and compassionate Part-Time Dental Assistant to join our pediatric dental team. The Dental Assistant will support our dentists and clinical team in providing exceptional dental care to children in a welcoming, safe, and positive environment. The ideal candidate is organized, patient, team-oriented, and comfortable working with children and families.
Requirements
- Radiology Certified requirement
- Knowledge of infection control and dental office procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working with children of different ages and personalities
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
Nice To Haves
- Previous dental assisting experience preferred
- Pediatric dental experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during pediatric dental procedures and examinations
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms and dental instruments
- Take and develop dental radiographs as directed
- Assist with patient care and provide age-appropriate reassurance to young patients
- Maintain infection-control and sterilization standards
- Prepare materials and equipment for procedures
- Document treatment and update patient records as needed
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and child-friendly clinical environment
- Provide excellent service to patients, parents, and caregivers
- Perform other clinical and administrative duties as needed
