About The Position

Dental365 is hiring a Dental Assistant for Theodore E. Dando, DMD Family & Cosmetic Dentistry at 443 State Street, Hamburg, Pennsylvania. The role supports the dentist during procedures and helps provide compassionate care in a modern practice focused on patient comfort, communication, and health-centered care. The practice describes its workplace as warm and supportive, with no pressure from production quotas, and encourages employees to grow in their careers. The schedule is Monday through Wednesday, 8:30 a.m.–6:30 p.m.; Thursday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; and Friday, 7:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m. The practice is closed Saturday and Sunday. Benefits are available according to eligibility; the posting states that all benefits are available to full-time employees working at least 30 hours weekly, with some benefits also available to part-time employees. Salary varies based on experience and job responsibilities.

Requirements

X-ray certification is required.
Any certification or license required by the state to perform specified duties.
A resume showing a consistent and stable employment history.
Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to deliver exceptional patient experiences.

Responsibilities

Welcome patients and help them feel comfortable and confident throughout their visits.
Support the dentist with various procedures.
Take digital radiographs and intraoral scans as prescribed.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment while following infection-control procedures.
Sanitize and prepare operatories for treatments.
Follow OSHA and safety policies.
Educate patients on effective oral hygiene strategies as needed.
Perform diverse office tasks as needed to support practice operations.
