About The Position

Elite Dental Care is seeking a multi-skilled Dental Assistant / Central Sterilization Room (CSR) Technician for its Jackson, Tennessee office. The role supports clinical operations by maintaining sterilization standards and assisting chairside during procedures. The position includes responsibility for infection control, instrument processing, room turnover, and chairside support as clinical needs shift. Team members receive a clear roadmap for sterilization and chairside responsibilities, support from clinical technology and sterilization equipment, regular feedback and coaching, and potential advancement within the company's six-location network.

Requirements

• Active Tennessee Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license.
• Nitrous and radiology certifications required before hire.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Demonstrated knowledge of infection control, OSHA and CDC guidelines, instrument processing, and dental terminology.
• Understanding of instrument scrubbing, ultrasonic cleaning, cassette packing, autoclave operation and monitoring, and biological indicator logs.
• Ability to provide chairside support for four-handed dentistry, operatory setup and teardown, and patient preparation.
• Strong attention to detail and an ownership mentality regarding safety, organization, and readiness.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the safety and readiness of instruments and operatories, following infection-control procedures and avoiding shortcuts.
• Scrub instruments, use ultrasonic cleaning, pack cassettes, operate and monitor autoclaves, and maintain biological indicator logs.
• Assist chairside with four-handed dentistry, operatory setup and teardown, and patient preparation as needed.
• Organize tray setups and track inventory.
• Maintain accurate sterilization logs and clean, compliant clinical spaces.
• Identify clinical-floor bottlenecks and proactively support instrument processing and timely operatory turnover.
