About The Position
Pine Ridge Dental Group is hiring a skilled, friendly Dental Assistant to provide modern, conservative care and help create a welcoming experience for patients. The role supports the dentist during clinical procedures, helps patients understand their care, and contributes to an organized, supportive dental team. The schedule is Tuesday through Thursday, 7:45 a.m.–5 p.m., and Friday, 8:45 a.m.–3 p.m., for a four-day work week. Pay is $23–$27 per hour.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience as a Dental Assistant.
- CPR/BLS certification.
- Radiology certification.
- Experience with dental software such as Open Dental or Dentrix.
- Solid knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments.
Responsibilities
- Prepare operatories and sterilize instruments.
- Assist the dentist chairside using four-handed dentistry.
- Take x-rays and intraoral photos.
- Enter treatment plans accurately based on the doctor’s diagnosis.
- Educate patients and provide post-operative instructions.
- Complete dental charting and coding.
- Perform lab duties, including pouring models, taking impressions, and fabricating temporary crowns.
- Stock supplies and maintain equipment.
- Document and protect patient health information accurately.
