About The Position
Comprehensive Mobile Care is seeking Full-Time and Part-Time Dental Assistants to support our mobile dental team in Newport News, VA and Charlottesville, VA. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, providing care to underserved senior communities, and being part of a mission-driven organization.
Requirements
- Certified/Registered Dental Assistant (as required by state)
- Current Radiation Certificate
- Familiarity with OSHA and infection control procedures
- Reliable, professional, and punctual
- Able to lift and transport dental equipment (25–50 lbs)
- Must pass a federal background check and drug screening
- Compassionate, mission-aligned, and flexible
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist with chairside procedures at various senior facilities
- Set up and break down portable dental equipment
- Maintain infection control and sterilization protocols
- Ensure patients are comfortable and informed throughout their visit
- Document procedures and assist with basic administrative tasks
