About The Position

Timber Dental - Bethany is seeking a skilled and dependable Dental Assistant with at least one year of experience. This role is suited to a motivated professional comfortable working chairside, who values efficiency and is committed to delivering high-quality patient care in a team-oriented environment. The position offers a four-day work week.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of dental assisting experience.
• X-ray certification, or ability to obtain it per state requirements.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong clinical and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.

Nice To Haves

• EFDA certification preferred, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist chairside during a variety of procedures.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and operatories in accordance with infection control protocols.
• Take digital radiographs (X-rays) and intraoral images.
• Record and update patient medical histories and clinical notes accurately.
• Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after procedures.
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene, treatment plans, and post-operative care.
• Maintain operatory cleanliness and organization.
• Manage inventory and restock supplies as needed.
• Support front office duties as needed, including scheduling and patient communication.
