About The Position

Bright Now! Dental, supported by Smile Brands, provides support, training, and teamwork to help employees manage the demands of dentistry. In this part-time opportunity, the Dental Assistant supports the dental team in delivering high-quality patient care by assisting during procedures, preparing instruments, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, a caring and professional demeanor, can start within a month, and works efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The schedule is Monday and Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Compensation is $22–$26 per hour. Benefits depend on employment status and hours worked.

Requirements

Active Washington Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) credential.
Current BLS certification.
Two years of chairside experience.
Proficiency in making provisional crowns.
Excellent communication skills and a caring, professional demeanor.
Ability to start within a month.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during surgeries, fillings, cleanings, and other dental treatments.
Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment before, during, and after patient treatment.
Take digital dental X-rays using Dexis software.
Prepare materials for procedures, including fillings, impressions, and crowns.
Provide chairside assistance and help ensure patients are comfortable and informed.
Record and update patient medical histories and treatment plans in dental software.
Manage instruments and tools and pass them to the dentist during procedures.
Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene.
