Requirements
- Arizona Dental Assistant Certification
- Arizona Dental Radiologic Safety Certificate (X-ray Certified)
- Arizona Coronal Polish Certificate
- Reliable, punctual for early morning starts, detail-oriented, and a true team player who values high patient satisfaction
Nice To Haves
- 1+ years of chairside dental assisting experience in a general dentistry setting
Responsibilities
- Assist doctors during exams, restorative procedures (fillings, crowns, root canals), extractions, and cosmetic treatments by passing instruments, suctioning, and maintaining a clear field of view.
- Prepare patients for treatment, take medical/dental histories, update charts, and deliver pre/post-operative instructions with compassion and care.
- Set up treatment rooms, disinfect equipment, and follow OSHA, HIPAA, and strict infection control protocols.
- Take clear dental X-rays and capture digital scans/impressions as needed.
- Maintain operatory stocking, organize instrument trays, and assist with clinical inventory.
