Dental Assistant
About The Position
The Dental Assistant supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; and performing procedures in compliance with Colorado dental standards. This is a part-time position working Fridays and Saturdays. CHOICE Healthcare Services provides pediatric dental care and describes its mission as giving everyone access to the healthcare they need. Requirements
- Colorado X-Ray certification.
- Current BLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- Certification from a dental college, three to six months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist the doctor during procedures.
- Take X-rays.
- Instruct patients on oral hygiene.
- Sterilize instruments.
- Set up and break down rooms and prepare them for treatment and hygiene appointments.
