About The Position
CHOICE Healthcare Services is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant for a busy, friendly dental office. The role supports Pediatric Dentists, Orthodontists, and Anesthesiologists in providing high-quality dental care to children. The position pays $18.00–$23.00 per hour, based on experience.
Requirements
- X-ray certification.
- BLS certification.
- 8-hour Infection Control certification.
- 2-hour Dental Practice Act certification.
Nice To Haves
- Certification from a dental college, or three to six months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Bilingual in Spanish.
Responsibilities
- Assist the doctor with procedures.
- Take X-rays and intraoral images (IOs).
- Assist with prophylaxis teeth cleaning.
- Instruct patients on oral hygiene.
- Chart cavities and teeth with the doctor.
- Sterilize instruments.
- Set up and break down rooms and prepare them for treatment or hygiene visits.
- Chart patient treatment and treatment plans with the doctor.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
