About The Position

We are looking for an experienced chairside Dental Assistant who is reliable, takes pride in their work, and contributes to a positive experience for patients and teammates. This is a hands-on, in-person role supporting general and restorative procedures while also helping patients understand treatment recommendations and costs, and ensuring follow-up appointments are scheduled before they leave. The office operates on full schedules, and each clinical team member plays an important role in keeping care and scheduling on track. The role requires regular, predictable, on-time attendance for the full scheduled shift, focused engagement during patient care, a positive and professional attitude, and a team-first approach. The Dental Assistant should be comfortable discussing costs and financial arrangements clearly and confidently, take ownership of scheduling and follow-up, and maintain professional hygiene, grooming, and clean scrubs each shift. Chairside work includes extended periods sitting or standing, repeated bending, leaning, twisting, and reaching, fine-motor instrument handling, repetitive hand and arm movements, close-range vision, and clear communication with patients and the dentist. The role also involves moving between operatories and work areas, lifting and moving supplies and equipment up to 25 pounds, wearing protective equipment throughout the shift, and working with exposure to blood, saliva, radiation, disinfectants, and dental materials while following safety protocols. The hiring process includes a phone screen and an in-office working interview. Prior employers are contacted for references, including questions about attendance, dependability, and teamwork; candidates should provide at least two supervisor references. Offers are contingent on satisfactory reference and background checks. New team members complete a 90-day introductory period.
