Dental Assistant Pediatric Dentistry of Hamburg | Lexington, KY Monday through Thursday 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM Looking for a career where you can make a difference every day? Requirements
- Proven experience as a dental assistant (preferred)
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
- Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing is a plus
- Excellent communication, Computer, and people skills
- Attention to detail
- Proficient in organizing
- High school diploma/GED
- X-Ray Certification
Nice To Haves
- Additional certification or training is an asset
Responsibilities
- Assisting the dentist during procedures
- Processing lab work for the dentist
- Advising patients on recommended oral hygiene
- Updating and maintaining dental records
