About The Position
Centurion is seeking a part-time Dental Assistant for an opportunity at Madison Correctional Facility located in Madison, Indiana. The Dental Assistant works under the direct supervision of the Dentist and/or Dental Hygienist in chairside dentistry in a correctional setting. This role is part-time, 20 hours per week, with a pay rate of $23 per hour.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Completion of a technical school program in dental assisting or minimum six (6) months of experience as a Dental Assistant required
- Certification in Dental Radiology required
- Must show/obtain current Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation for tuberculosis screening
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Nice To Haves
- Certification as an Expanded Duty Dental Assistant preferred
Responsibilities
- Preparing and sterilizing dental instruments
