About The Position

Robinwood Dental is seeking a Part-Time Dental Assistant to support its general dentistry practice. The role helps provide patients with an organized, efficient, and welcoming experience throughout their dental care. Dental Assistants work as part of a team focused on clear communication, positive working relationships, excellent patient care, and efficient daily operations.

The schedule is two days per week: Tuesday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Friday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The position is located in Hagerstown, Maryland, and pays $18.00–$25.00 per hour based on qualifications.

Requirements

• Be willing to enroll in a radiology course if not already certified.
• Be organized and detail-oriented.
• Have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Maintain a positive and professional presence at work.
• Enjoy working as a team member and helping where needed.
• Be able to work independently.

Nice To Haves

• Dental radiology certification is preferred.
• Qualified Dental Assistant licensure, or being in the process of obtaining it, is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and tear down treatment rooms.
• Assist the dentist chairside.
• Take patient X-rays.
• Document information accurately and in a timely manner.
• Discuss treatment and follow-up with patients.
• Attend team and office meetings as required.
• Communicate and collaborate with the dental team to support patient care and efficient daily operations.
