About The Position

Wellington Dentistry is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join its patient-focused dental practice in Lexington, Kentucky. This full-time role supports the clinical team and helps create a positive experience for patients. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Wednesday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with Fridays off. Pay is $18 per hour, based on experience. Scrubs are provided. Requirements

• X-ray certification.
• 1–2 years of Dental Assistant experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Friendly and compassionate, with a patient-first mindset.
• Quick learner who adapts well in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communicator with excellent attention to detail.
• Collaborative team member who enjoys helping others succeed.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient appointments.
• Take and process dental X-rays.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards.
• Assist with patient care before, during, and after treatment.
• Document clinical notes and update patient records.
