About The Position

Swish Dental is seeking a highly motivated Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join its team. The Dental Assistant supports the dentist during treatment, performs radiographs and scans, records baseline patient information, prepares and sterilizes instruments and treatment rooms, takes dental impressions, and provides attentive patient care. The role requires effective communication, a team-first and patient-first approach, continued development of dental knowledge and job skills, and compliance with applicable state, federal, and local standards. The position is based in a clinical studio environment and may involve travel to other locations as needed.

Requirements

• Fluent in English, verbally and in writing.
• Familiarity with dental terminology.
• Ability to travel to other locations as needed.
• Basic computer skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certificate of Completion from a Dental Assisting Course.
• Texas RDA License required after 1+ years of certification.
• CPR and/or BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Perform dental radiographs (x-rays) and scans.
• Document baseline patient information.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments, equipment, and patient rooms.
• Provide exceptional patient care throughout patients' visits.
• Take impressions of patients' teeth.
• Communicate effectively and efficiently.

• Continuously increase dentistry knowledge and job skills.
• Adhere to state, federal, and local compliance standards.
