About The Position
El Paso Dentistry 4 Kids (Dyer), part of Kids Dental Brands, is seeking a compassionate, patient-focused Dental Assistant to support pediatric dental care. The role works closely with children and families, helping deliver high-quality care and create a positive, welcoming experience. Through compassion, encouragement, and relationship-building, the Dental Assistant helps children feel safe and confident during dental visits. The position offers a predictable daytime schedule, no nights, and often shortened Friday schedules. The office is described as a bright, modern, child-focused facility with contemporary technology. The organization offers team support, training, and opportunities for professional growth. Pay is $14–$20 per hour, with monthly bonus potential of up to $300.
Requirements
- Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification.
- Current CPR/BLS Certification.
Responsibilities
- Work chairside with dentists to support high-quality patient care.
- Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays).
- Prepare, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
- Assist with procedures including impressions, extractions, and fillings.
- Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene, including brushing, flossing, and nutrition.
- Review medical histories, take vital signs including blood pressure and pulse, and update records.
- Help children feel comfortable and confident before, during, and after treatment.
- Provide post-treatment care instructions to patients and families.
