About The Position

One Community Health is seeking a Dental Assistant to support its integrated approach to patient care, working closely with dentists, dental hygienists, and medical and behavioral health providers. The role is based at the clinic in The Dalles, Oregon. Duties include patient intake and processing, chair-side assistance, patient education, and pre- and post-operative instruction. Additional duties may include setting up and cleaning treatment areas, sterilization, quality control checks, and performing radiographic surveys as prescribed by the dentist.

Requirements

• At least one year of dental experience.
• Current Oregon dental radiology certification.
• Healthcare Provider CPR certification.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Successful relationship management skills involving multidisciplinary teams in a diverse, multicultural environment.
• High school diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency.
• Experience working with marginalized, high-risk, or otherwise underserved populations.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient intake and processing.
