About The Position

The role supports dentists during procedures, takes digital X-rays and images, maintains accurate patient records, protects confidentiality, follows safety and infection-control guidelines, and assists hygienists and other team members as needed. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active state dental assisting license, if applicable.
• Radiography certification, if applicable.
• At least 2 years of hands-on dental assisting experience.
• Current OSHA, HIPAA, and Infection Control training.
• Positive, energetic, action-oriented attitude.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Open Dental.
• Experience with Nomad and digital scanning.
• Certifications in Coronal Polishing and Nitrous Oxide monitoring.
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
• Collaborative approach and enjoyment of working as part of a supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures.
• Take digital X-rays and images.
• Provide patients with a caring, empathetic, and knowledgeable experience.
• Maintain accurate and organized patient records and charts.
• Protect patient confidentiality.
• Follow OSHA and Bloodborne Pathogen guidelines.
• Support hygienists and other team members as needed.
