About The Position

OroMed, a subsidiary of Health Bridge LLC, is a mission-driven healthcare organization working to expand access to dental care. It connects patients at federally funded clinics with licensed dentists through live telehealth. The Dental Assistant serves on site as the connection between patients and remote dentists during live video exams, helping deliver care to communities with limited access.

The role is full-time in Montebello, California, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and pay of $23.00–$26.00 per hour. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Dental Assistant Certification.
• X-Ray Certification.
• Strong communication skills.
• Current immunizations and TB screening.
• Fluency in Spanish.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with dental tools and terminology.
• Current CPR or BLS card.
• Healthcare or customer-facing experience.
• CA Dental Practice Act Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the on-site connection between patients and a remote dentist during live video exams.
• Guide the intraoral camera so the dentist can see and evaluate the patient in real time.
• Welcome patients, ease their nerves, and make the virtual visit feel personal.
• Collect medical history and organize records for the dentist.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation.
