About The Position

Dental Assistants provide “Best in Class” care to patients and assist dentists during a variety of procedures. The position is at Cohen & Cohen Dental Group. The posting lists a guaranteed hourly rate of $28–$30 and paid vacation and holidays. Nice To Haves

One to two years of dental assisting experience is preferred.
Knowledge of general mouth anatomy and dental terminology.
Understanding of crowns, fillings, extractions, root canals, and implants.

Responsibilities

Prepare exam rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure equipment is ready for dentists.
Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs.
Take and process patient X-rays.
Perform laboratory tasks as instructed.
Greet patients and schedule appointments.
Advise patients on recommended oral hygiene.
Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures.
Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
Handle general administrative and other duties needed to maintain the dental practice.
