Dental Assistant (Flint)
About The Position
Dental Dreams is seeking Dental Assistants passionate about providing healthcare. The role supports dental healthcare operations and may suit certified and licensed Dental Assistants or Oral Radiology Technicians, as well as entry-level candidates, recent graduates, and people currently enrolled in a Dental Assistant program. Previous Dental Assistant experience is not required. The Dental Assistant provides chairside support to dentists, operates oral radiology equipment, maintains clean and sterilized tools and operatories, and helps patients understand treatment plans and address their concerns. The role offers opportunities to learn from experienced dentists and advance to Lead Dental Assistant or Lead Regional Trainer.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Full-time availability, Monday through Friday and rotating Saturdays.
Nice To Haves
- Dental or healthcare experience.
- Oral Radiology certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide chairside assistance for dentists.
- Operate oral radiology equipment.
- Maintain the cleanliness and sterilization of tools and operatories.
- Assist in explaining treatment plans to patients.
- Attentively address patients’ concerns regarding treatment plans.
- Provide engaging patient service by acknowledging patients’ questions or concerns.
- Ensure quality service is always provided.
