About The Position
Preferred Search Group is partnering with a well-established, privately owned general dental practice in The Woodlands, Texas, to hire an experienced Dental Assistant. The role supports restorative dentistry and surgical and periodontal procedures, working with the dentist and a visiting periodontist. The ideal candidate is organized, motivated, proactive, and committed to excellent patient care. The schedule is Tuesday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, focused on restorative dentistry, plus two Fridays per month from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM assisting a visiting periodontist.
Requirements
- Previous dental assisting experience.
- Experience with surgical procedures and restorative dentistry.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a busy clinical setting.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and driven to do quality work.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative.
- A team-oriented mindset and commitment to excellent patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist with restorative dental procedures.
- Provide surgical assistance and support during periodontal procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials.
- Maintain an organized, efficient clinical environment.
- Anticipate the needs of the dentist and help keep appointments running smoothly.
- Ensure patients feel comfortable and well cared for throughout their visits.
